About

Browns Plains, Queensland, Australia / October 13, 2026

Christopher Charles Burns, a researcher of Tongan descent from Browns Plains, Queensland, had five theology articles accepted by peer-reviewed journals between March and October 2026: two in The Expository Times, two in the Asian Journal of Pentecostal Studies and one in Studies in Christian Ethics. He wrote all five as an independent researcher, without a university theology appointment. RecordSetter checked the editors' acceptance letters and the accepted manuscripts, and confirmed both Expository Times articles in print. Serious scholarship, from outside the academy.
