Mike Hedge took 807 Bokeh photographs. See all photos here.

- must provide media evidence
- bokeh must be subject of photo; photos with incidental bokeh or depth-of-field are inadmissable

Mike, how are you defining "bokeh photograph"? What is it about these compositions that make them unique as opposed to photographs that have some measure of depth of field? I think this category needs more definition before approval.

Gorgeous photographs, though. Have you tried the trick of placing a punched-out piece of card over the lens to shape the bokeh?

and from wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bokeh "the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light"

Bokeh are these light balls out of focus.

I couldn't add another rule for this record, but the photos should be of Bokeh

      cheers and thanks

Ok, so the main subject of the photo needs to be the bokeh, rather than having the subject be something else and the bokeh incidental in the background? That's what I'm clarifying.

ya they are photos of Bokeh. Not of something else.

Fair enough, I'll add that to the criteria. Thanks for that!
