Straw World Records

During World Domination event, 30 members of REVOLVE @Linkway drank out of a pineapple at the same time. They used straws that were three, five and eight feet in length. tag:RecordSetterBook01

Tony Damato and three of his friends all drank from an orange at the same time.

Kenny McKee drank a 12-ounce (355 ml) can of Diet Pepsi through a straw in 21.10 seconds.

Mel Sampson drank Coca-Cola from a straw that was 75.82 meters in length. Sampson set the record as part of The Drive Home with Mel World Record Week 4.

Tomer Salton drank a 225ml bag of chocolate milk in 3.90 seconds. NOTE: Speed drinking can be dangerous. Please use caution and have adult supervision on hand.

Steve S. drank a 2-ounce bottle of Tabasco sauce through a coffee stirrer in 4.28 seconds.

Danny Puskarcik drank a pint of soda water, consumed a bowl of macaroni and cheese with chopsticks, ate and read a fortune cookie and washed it all down with a shot of peach schnapps in three minutes, 39.30 seconds. NOTE: Stuffing food in your mouth and speed drinking can be dangerous. Please use caution and have adult supervision on hand.

Rob Birdsong made a paper straw wrapper wormmeasuring 96 millimeters in length.

Dinesh Shivnath Upadhyaya placed 1,001 straws in his mouth at once.

Pavol Durdik hovered a table tennis ball using his breath and a bendy-straw for 7.15 seconds.

Ben Kerr drank a half pint (236.59ml) of Diet Coke through a straw in 5.84 seconds. NOTE: Speed drinking can be dangerous. Please use caution when making an attempt.

This record was set as part of Toyota Prius Records, a two-day event streamed live on the Internet. In a 48-hour period, URDB officials adjudicated 200 Prius-related world records. This was the most records ever documented in a 48-hour window, a world record in and of itself. The event took place in Los Angeles, California on March 30th and 31st, 2011. Dyuthi Khanna drank hot chocolate through 12 straws connected together to form one extra-long straw. She accomplished this feat at Stevenson High School’s Operation Snowball in March 2011.

Filip M. kept a straw in his mouth for one hour, 17 minutes, 34.00 seconds.

Daniel O. put 50 beans in a bowl using a straw in one minute.
