Blast Off!!! played just 24 beats of Sweet Child O’ Mine in one minute, a world record. The band performed the song on July 14, 2009 at a World Record Appreciation Society[] event in New York City. Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson were present to witness and time the feat. [#WRAS07][]

Radio host Paul Van Sickle named 35 Gaither Vocal Band songs in 30 seconds, a world record. Van Sickle noted the songs were all written by Bill and/or Gloria Gaither. The feat was performed on July 13, 2009 on the Great Getting Up In The Morning Show[] on KCWJ in Kansas City, Missouri. Mark Van Sickle was present as a witness.

Liz Tertinek, Katie Rich, Sara Wallitt, Alysse Cottle, and Sarah Gasbarro got dressed in Snuggies, formed a five-person human pyramid and sang a verse from "99 Bottles Of Beer," a new world record.

Taylor Jones named 35 Black Eyed Peas songs in 20 seconds, a new world record. Songs named included ‘Don’t Bring Me Down’, ‘Let’s Get It Started’, and ‘Pump It Up’. Jones set the record on June 27, 2009 in Miami, Florida. Ricky Jones was present as a witness.

Jason Eppink and Matt Green threw a pineapple back and forth 67 times in one minute while singing Camptown Races, a new world record. They stood exactly ten feet apart while achieving the feat. The duo set the record on May 20, 2009 at a World Record Appreciation Society[] event in New York City. Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson were present as witnesses. [#WRAS06][]

Phil Covitz and Andrea D’Attanasio complete a world record 111 tandem single-rope jumps during the duration of the Run-D.M.C. song, ’It’s Tricky[]’. Jumps where they tripped or stumbled over the rope were not counted. The couple set the record on March 25, 2009 at a World Record Appreciation Society[] event held at Pianos in New York City. Paying homage to her favorite musical,Rachel Sklar sang ’Sixteen Going On Seventeen[]’ (featured in The Sound of Music) in 38.58 seconds.
