Derek Volk lead 25 people from the Scarborough Maine 7th Grade Girls Softball Team and 7th Grade Baseball Team in somersaulting from the pitcher's mound to the home plate. They set the record during their end-of-season party.

On December 1st, ‘World AIDS Day’, Record Setter and 17 teenagers of ’Yes! Club World- Nepal’ recited this year’s theme of World AIDS Day[] in unison. The theme for 2011 is “Getting to Zero”. The main objective of the feat is to send out message to the world that even youth and teenagers are aware and trying to contribute towards resolving the global issue of HIV/AIDS.

A total of 45,553 Nevadans sang Home Means Nevada statewide at once. Lt. Gov. Brian Krolicki, Gov. Brian Sandoval, and the Nevada 150 Commission led the record to demonstrate state pride and celebrate Nevada’s Sesquicentennial, the 150th anniversary of Nevada’s admission to the Union.
