The record was set by The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa at the Outside Post at Shelter Cove Marina on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. Three members of Support The Melons formed a conga line and revolved around a melon two times in 30 seconds. They set the record to promote breast cancer awareness and raise funds for the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer campaign.

Organized by the Barrelrollman Organization, 865 people simultaneously performed somersaults at Forest Park in St. Louis, Missouri. The Barrelrollman Organization was formed to raise funds for the Nurses For Newborns Foundation.

A total of 116 kids kicked penalty shoot-outs at the Queen's Park soccer field in Sydney, Australia.
