Paper World Records

This record was set as part of Toyota Prius Records, a two-day event streamed live on the Internet. In a 48-hour period, URDB officials adjudicated 200 Prius-related world records. This was the most records ever documented in a 48-hour window, a world record in and of itself. The event took place in Los Angeles, California on March 30th and 31st, 2011. David H. constructed and launched a paper airplane in 5.24 seconds.

Amal Aby wrote 30 digits of Pi on a sheet of paper in 10 seconds.

Varun K. drew 90 triangles in 30 seconds.

Christian Cipollini ripped 39 sheets of tissue paper in 10 seconds.

Matt Brodsky ripped 13 pieces of paper in half in 10 seconds.

Suresh G. kept a piece of paper stuck against a wall by blowing. He kept it stuck against the wall for 6.50 seconds.

Pavol Durdik ripped 31 sheets of paper in 30 seconds.

Andy Pelphrey crumpled five pieces of paper into individual wads in 10 seconds.

Joe Bricker drew 15 cats in one minute. He drew a total of 16 cats but the last attempt did not fall inside the one minute mark.

Nidhi B. made a paper butterfly that measures six millimeters in length.

At a weekend retreat, a group led by Rob Indler set the world record for Longest Origami Circumcised Penis Made From A Tablecloth. The feat was officiated by RecordSetter President Dan Rollman.

Doug McManaman made a paper beard measuring three feet long and two-and-a-half feet wide.

Cullan M. drew 65 fishes in one minute.

Suresh Gaur balanced a strip of paper on his nose for five minutes, 33.09 seconds while kneeling.

Tai Star hovered a rolling paper for one minute, 49.03 seconds by playing a didgeridoo.
