Using a crowdful of volunteers to help him, Opus Moreschi had Post-It notes with a total of 356 unique adjectives written on them attached to his body. The most popular adjective attached was “douchey”, though duplicates weren’t counted. Moreschi set the record at a World Record Appreciation Society event held at Joe’s Pub in New York City. Stephen Phillips completed 50 consecutive push-ups while blowing a party horn during each push-up. The record was set at the Metropolis Fremantle nightclub during the World’s Largest Pajama Party in Perth, Australia. Dan Rollman was present to document the record. #PP01

Barbara Rollman completed 25 hip swings in 30 seconds, a new world record. She achieved the feat on a Deniz Sport Pedalli Esnemi Aleti hip swinger. Rollman set her record on March 19, 2009 at Konyaalti Beach in Antalya, Turkey. Her husband Gary was present to document the feat.

Ian Kalman displayed contempt for his fellow man when he insulted 15 people in one minute, a new world record. He fired insults at a line of volunteers, choosing to pass on only one. Kalman set the record on February 17, 2009 at a World Record Appreciation Society[] event at the Hemlock Tavern in San Francisco, California. Jerry Paffendorf destroys $72 American dollars with the express purpose of reselling it for more, a new world record. He began shredding the bills with a blender, but ultimately resorted to ripping the bills by hand. Paffendorf now plans to sell the creation as an artwork on eBay, with a starting price of $73. Paffendorf performed the feat on February 17, 2009 at a World Record Appreciation Society[] event at the Hemlock Tavern in San Francisco, California. BeatboxerAdam Matta delivered 17 different vocal instruments in a 4-beat measure, a new world record. The tempo of the performance was approximately 86 BPM. Matta performed the feat at a World Record Appreciation Society event in New York City on February 11, 2009. It took place at Pianos, a Lower East Side bar. Dan Rollman was present to time and count the instruments. Matt Vescovo displays a tremendous penchant for animal flirtation by delivering 10 non-nut sexual innuendos to a squirrel in one minute, a new world record. He began an 11th (“Can I enter your treehole?”), but was unable to complete it within the alloted time. Vescovo wooed the squirrel with such lines as “I’ve got a wonderful place for you to hibernate” and “I’d like to become one with nature.” He performed the feat at a World Record Appreciation Society event held in New York City on February 11, 2009. Ibrahim Earth Angel rapped 206 words in 30 seconds. He set the the record on August 29, 2008 at the Burning Man festival in Black Rock City, Nevada. Emily Wilson[] sharpened five completely unsharpened pencils in one minute, a new world record. To confirm that the pencils were sufficiently sharp, Wilson successfully popped balloons with each one when the minute was complete. The feat was achieved on November 24, 2008 at the World Record Appreciation Society’s first-ever event. It took place at Asia Roma[], a karaoke bar in New York City. Event organizers Corey Henderson and Dan Rollman were on hand to witness and document the achievement.

Sparks displays tremendous agility and creativity by using just her hands to create seven distinctly different animal characters. The record was set on August 30, 2008 at the Burning Man festival in Black Rock City, Nevada. Dan Rollman witnessed and videotaped the attempt. #BM2008

Yo-yo master Jospeh Harris displays his legendary skills by setting a new universal record for most consecutive under the leg loops (148). Harris set his record on August 9, 2008 at the International Yo-Yo Open[] in New York City. He used a YoYoJam Sunset Trajectory NXG yo-yo and a 1/2 polyester, 1/2 synthetic string to achieve the feat. Witnesses included Faisal Ansari and Talia Ledner. #YOYO01

Nikita Zeyfman created 31 arm twisties on his left arm, a world record. Arm hair twisties are formed by taking several individual neighboring arm hairs and spiraling them together.
