Nikita Zeyfman created 31 arm twisties on his left arm, a world record. Arm hair twisties are formed by taking several individual neighboring arm hairs and spiraling them together. Zeyfman set the record on January 7, 2009 at a World Record Appreciation Society event in New York City. Emily Wilson and Rob Birdsong served as witnesses. [#WRAS02][]

Pearl Cohen put up ten ponytails in one minute, a new world record. She used her mom’s hair to achieve the feat. Cohen set the record on April 4, 2009 at the first annual Brooklyn World Record Day in Brooklyn, New York. The event was held by URDB in conjunction with Beam Camp. Members of iD Tech Camps in UC San Diego stuck 53 paper airplanes in the hair of one person.

Michael Bennett has a world record four patches of natural gray hair. Bennett’s hair was documented on May, 28 2009 in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. Erica Hess was present as a witness.

18 curly haired members of the Reflections Of Christ Youth Ministry gathered together on a stage, a new world record. The record was set on June 17, 2009 in Lake City Florida. Dustin Busscher was present as a witness.

Ahmir ’Questlove’ Thompson fit 101 afro picks in his afro at once, a new world record. He placed all the picks in the afro himself, receiving no outside assistance. Thompson achieved the feat on June 25, 2009 in New York City while taping a URDB segment for Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.
