The record was set by The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa at the Outside Post at Shelter Cove Marina on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. During his TEDx Brooklyn talk, RecordSetter CEO Dan Rollman led attendees in setting a record for the Loudest Charity Scream. The group collectively generated a scream that reached 108 decibels, raising $2,700 for the St. Baldrick's Foundation. Rollman had raised $25/decibel in advance of his talk.

Led by Josh Berk, a total of 35 young adult authors read Touched by Cyn Balog at once. The record was set during the 2012 YA Festival at the Easton Area Public Library in Easton, Pennsylvania.

Ethan and 156 sixth grade students at Pipkin Middle School completed a game of catch in 15 minutes, 16.02 seconds. Ethan set the record as part of his stunt-journalism-book-project to become the "World's Best Catch Player".

Blairgowrie Dental Care principal dentist, Dr. Claire Williams, performed 40 toothbrushing sessions in 20 seconds. She set the record to celebrate National Smile Month in the UK, supporting the British Dental Health Foundation.

A total of 116 kids kicked penalty shoot-outs at the Queen's Park soccer field in Sydney, Australia. The record was set with the help of IGA Australia as part of their IGA Future Soccer Stars campaign. Soccer hero John Aloisi served as goal keeper and RecordSetter official Dave Thompson was present to adjudicate the attempt.
