Gas Mask World Records

SwineFlu Avenger ran 18 miles in three hours, 26 minutes and 41 seconds while wearing a gas mask. Avenger set the feat at the ING New York City Marathon Tune-Up.

Ramrod Record bench pressed a steam cleaner 36 times in 30 seconds while wearing a gas mask.

Aaron L. ran a distance of 66 kilometers (41.01 miles) while wearing a gas mask. He set the record during the 40th Marine Corps Marathon. The event was held to raise awareness for the 22 veterans a day who commit suicide. Aaron served in the Marine Corps for 15 years and was a suicide and crisis negotiator during his time. Swineflu Avenger ran a half marathon in two hours, 17 minutes and 45 seconds while wearing a gas mask, a flak jacket and a kevlar helmet and carrying a 10 pound baton.
