Rachel Neel, an intern at Marfa Public Radio, opened a new CD using just her hands in 17.54 seconds.

Paddy Doyle walked 30 miles along the Grand Union Canal while carrying a 76-pound back pack in 10 hours and 37 seconds. Though his pack was 76 pounds and he walked an additional 300 meters, the weight and distance have been standardized. The record benefited the Help For Heroes charity.
