Fake World Records  

A total of 242 participants at Central Coast Ukulele Festival 2015 played ukuleles while wearing fake mustaches. They set the record to raise funds for cancer research. Over $800 was raised during the event.

A total of 333 students and staff of North Union Middle School in Richwood, Ohio wore fake mustaches at school to raise awareness against bullying. They wore the mustaches to signify that it is okay to be different.

This record was set as part of Toyota Prius Records, a two-day event streamed live on the Internet. In a 48-hour period, URDB officials adjudicated 200 Prius-related world records.
