Yanhao Deng of Chenzhou, Hunan, stood an AA battery upright on a ledge in 1.36 seconds, starting with the battery lying on its side next to a smartwatch stopwatch. The clip shows the battery laid down, the stopwatch started on camera, the battery tipped onto its end with one hand, and the watch stopped at 00:01.36. RecordSetter checked that the battery stands on its own once the hand clears, for about two seconds until the clip ends. No glue, just a steady hand.
