Doug McManaman extended a tape measure 156 inches (3.96 meters) with a golf ball on top of it. The measuring stopped as soon as the tape measure bent.

Rules

- record setter can extend tape two feet before placing golf ball on top
- record stops once tape bends or ball drops off tape or hits tape
- no outside assistance permitted
- nothing can be used to support tape measure
