Beihu-Chenzhou-Hunan, SAR, China / October 12, 2026

Yanhao Deng of Chenzhou, Hunan, stood an AAA battery upright on a ledge in 1.34 seconds, starting with the battery lying on its side beside a smartwatch stopwatch. The clip shows the battery laid down, the stopwatch started on camera, the battery set on its end with one hand, and the watch stopped at 00:01.34. RecordSetter checked that the battery stays standing on its own after the hand clears, for nearly two seconds until the clip ends. A slimmer battery than AA, and still no glue.
