About

Beihu-Chenzhou-Hunan, SAR, China / October 12, 2026

Yanhao Deng spun two AA batteries around each other inside one cupped hand in Chenzhou, Hunan, with a smartwatch stopwatch propped on a storage box beside the hand. The stopwatch is started on camera and runs past ten seconds while the batteries keep turning, and the quick thumb-driven rhythm, about three rotations a second, fits Yanhao's count of 30. Ten seconds of nonstop finger work, and neither battery gets away.
