About

Beihu-Chenzhou-Hunan, SAR, China / October 11, 2026

Yanhao Deng spun two AA batteries around each other inside one cupped hand at a desk in Chenzhou, Hunan, with a smartwatch stopwatch propped up beside the hand. The stopwatch is started on camera, runs past 30 seconds as the clip ends, and the quick, steady finger rhythm, well over two rotations a second, fits Yanhao's count of 72. Thirty seconds of nonstop finger work with two of the most ordinary objects in the house.
