If you played YO using the Y in OXY it would be legit.

This should be denied as should my 117 from May 2013.

In my opinion, any attempt with floating words should be denied. It changes the possibilities subtly.

this is not a legitimate turn in Scrabble, and i don't think "enating" is a word.

      1. In Alex Cunningham's latest attempt, he does the same floating words on his board, and as the rules state I ''must follow same form as current world record holder" I am within the rules.

      2. ENATING- growing out or outwards

OXY can't be played floating disconnected from any other word. That move is not a valid play.

OXY is in both the official North American and World English Scrabble dictionaries, as well as in the ENABLE lexicon. Though usually found in most dictionaries solely defining the combining form, it can be found in some dictionaries as a separate word, an adjective for "containing oxygen or additional oxygen", such as in Merriam-Webster's 11th-edition. And considering each of the three letters O, X, and Y are available in the English Scrabble letter distribution, the word is definitely playable.

This is stupid, the word OXY is an unplayable word. Shouldn't count.

1.Begin with the bingo ABSCISIN [a plant hormone] with a 'A' on the initial double word score. 2.Play DOR [a European dung beetle] alongside the initial word forming ID and NO. 3.On the other side of the first word, play LOO [a lavatory] forming LID and ONO [a Hawaiin fish] 4. Play HIPP(O) along the squares on the board's edge 5.(R)IFFS along the squares on the board's edge 6.Play the single 'G' on the triple-word-square. (HIPPO)G(RIFFS) + (ABSCISIN)G = 117 points

    Sorry, no video.

1.Begin with the bingo HOSTING with a 'G' on the initial double word score. 2.S(H)E played to form a tee with 'HOSTING' 3.HIPPO, O(S) with 'HIPPO' along the squares on the board's edge 4.RIFFS, R(E) with 'RIFFS' on the squares on the board's edge 5.Play the single 'G' on the triple-word-square.
