Michael, Kevin, Shane, Elizabeth, Jon, Jake, Holly, Kristen, Thea, Tyler, and Sue ate 49 eggs while watching the egg eating scene in Cool Hand Luke. They set the record in celebration of Newman's Day.

Rules

- all participants must watch film together
- eggs may be pre-peeled
- may drink liquids during the attempt
- eating starts when Paul Newman eats the first egg in the scene
- eating ends when they open Paul Newman's mouth in the scene
- only eggs fully consumed during the scene are counted
- must provide video evidence
