Neil Moallem wrote “Stride League Of Long Lasting World Records” six times in one minute.

Stride’s setting 100 records in 100 days. At the end of 100 days, we’ll verify if you are the standing Record Holder. If you are, you’ll get $500 for each record you managed to hold with your guile, talent, and sheer will.

General caution and common sense required. We show the Stride Team at work, but recommend that these challenges be done at home.

- all words must be legible
- no spelling errors permitted
- must attempt record using pen, pencil or marker
- must show blank paper on video before attempt begins

Cathy Once again, we apologize for the misunderstanding about ties. In terms of adding periods, that was never a requirement for the category. We hear your frustration, and would like to send you a book and t-shirt as a small token of apology.

dan thanks for the clarity...appreciate it

  • The Internet Cathy Vail

I would have worked harder to submit a few extra words had I known this "new" rule about ties. My sentences did include periods which is tehcnically more than Neil's included AND it's the way the Stride Team showed it in their original video.

  • The Internet Devin Ehrich

rob...how are ties working? cuz in the rules it says ties will be split...just was wondering

  • United States Rob Birdsong

Will, as long as you show a blank page before the feat, it is acceptable to use more than one phrase per line.

  • The Internet Will Pilcher

Can you do more than one phrase per line or does it have to be one line per phrase?

  • United States Dustin James

so what are you guys doing for the winner of this one? It says on the rule page and stuff that in the event of a tie, it will be split between the winners? There are like 5 people that got 6 times. lol

  • The Internet Tim Elias

    ok thanks

  • United States Rob Birdsong

Tim - good question. Neil submitted his attempt before we added the criteria "- must show blank paper on video before attempt begins". We've reviewed this record many times now and the footage provided shows clear evidence of six phrases.

  • The Internet Tim Elias

I thought we had to use blank paper. clearly already used paper is written on for this attempt. this should be denied.

  • United States Rob Birdsong

    Got it - thanks Neil.

  • The Internet Kobi Jaro

haha im not gunna defend myself im just gunna smarten up from that :p my bad

  • United States Neil Moallem

Rob I sent you the picture

  • Canada Dan Rollman

Kobi In your video, your hand clearly moves from left to right five times. The handwriting of your first phrase is significantly different, too. In short, it's clear in our eyes that you wrote one of the six phrases before the clock began.

First off, it's extremely disappointing to discover what appears to be a blatant cheat. You're welcome to defend yourself, but assuming we're correct, you need to understand that this type of behavior isn't welcome in our community. It's weak and juvenile. If we discover future cheats, we will look to suspend or ban you from the site.

Second, to deter anyone else from trying such an approach, we've added "- must show blank paper before attempt begins" to the rules. Future submissions must include that.

Neil, Alyjha - RecordSetter is not administering the prize money - just the records. I have a feeling Stride will reach out to the winners after the winners are announced. I will confirm and let you know once I have more info.

  • United States Alyjha Williams

oh yeah i didnt think about the tax free part of it i hope so

  • United States Neil Moallem

I would also like to know how long it will take for us to receive our winnings once the winners have been announced. Also, will the money be tax-free?

  • United States Alyjha Williams

how long do you think it will take before we get or winning money?

  • The Internet Cathy Vail

Wow....this is a lot harder than it looks.

  • United States Vernon Frenzel

This one is making me Nerd rage xD
