In a desert biome in Minecraft survival mode, Zaid stacks cactus blocks one on top of another, climbing beside the column on pillars of sand to place each new block. The game's coordinate readout tracks the climb from the desert floor at height 69 to the top of the cactus above height 90, and the finished column is shown towering over the dunes and again from its base looking straight up. Left to grow on its own, a Minecraft cactus stops at three blocks.
