About

São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil / July 15, 2017

Gabriel Carvalho, who plays as Powerzao, scored 34 player kills in a single Minecraft Hardcore Games match on the Brazilian server WaveHG in July 2017 and was the last player standing. Hardcore Games is a Hunger Games-style survival mode where up to 80 players pick a kit and fight until one remains; with the Stomper kit, which passes fall damage on to anyone underneath, he used sponge blocks to launch himself to the height limit and dropped onto the crowded feast, racking up 18 kills in about 20 seconds. RecordSetter followed the server's own sidebar through the edited highlight video as his kill count climbed from 0 to 34 and the players online fell from 61 to 1, ending with the server announcing the win for refilay, the account he played on that day.
