Yanhao Deng of Chenzhou, Hunan, rolled two D batteries around each other in one cupped hand for thirty seconds, with a phone stopwatch running on the desk beside the hand. The stopwatch starts from zero on camera, and RecordSetter checked the unedited video frame by frame: the batteries trade places about once a second until the stopwatch passes 30 seconds, which fits Yanhao's count of 30. Thirty seconds is a short window for batteries this size, and neither one leaves the hand.
