Sitting World Records

Doug McManaman balanced a sword on a golf club on his chin while sitting for four minutes and 27.30 seconds.

This record was set as part of Toyota Prius Records, a two-day event streamed live on the Internet. In a 48-hour period, URDB officials adjudicated 200 Prius-related world records. This was the most records ever documented in a 48-hour window, a world record in and of itself. The event took place in Los Angeles, California on March 30th and 31st, 2011. Todd DeFazio sat on a powered George Foreman Grill for 29.86 seconds. DeFazio started by sitting down on the grill, and timing began the moment the grill was plugged in.
