Paying homage to her favorite musical,Rachel Sklar sang ’Sixteen Going On Seventeen[]’ (featured in The Sound of Music) in 38.58 seconds. The record was set at a World Record Appreciation Society event on February 11, 2009. It took place at Pianos, a bar in New York City’s Lower East Side. Ruby Goldblatt sang "Do-Re-Mi" from “The Sound Of Music” in 12.94 seconds. Goldblattset the feat at Book Passage in Corte Madera, California. RecordSetter Council president Dan Rollman and senior official Corey Henderson presided over the attempt.

Michael Kennedy sang all 18 verses of Greensleevesin four minutes and one second. The singer took 13 breaths.

Patrick Hardin sang Reba McEntire’s The Night the Lights Went Out In Georgia[] while wearing an inside out pillow case on his head in one minute, 42.86 seconds.

Alan St.Louis sang The Star-Spangled Banner from a hot air balloon flown 60 feet in the air. He set the record with the RE/MAX Integra team at the Rotary Rock'n Ribfest in Nashua Merrimack County, New Hampshire.

Amy Wendorf's friends sang "I Want It That Way" by the Backstreet Boys.

Led by the members of the Omega Force Strength Team, a total of 248 people sang Happy Birthday to Jerry Thomas on his 62nd birthday.

A total of 6,900 people from Shadow Mountain Records sang Row, Row, Row Your Boat in rounds. They set the record during their group's Women’s Conference concert.

John Cabral led a group of 121 concert-goers in the largest group rendition of Don’t Stop Believin’ by the rock band Journey. The record was set on October 17, 2009 at the Saucony Originals tent at the Treasure Island Music Festival in San Francisco, California.

Fifty-three people from Synergy Youth Ministry sang "Jesus Loves Me[]."

Tom B. and nine of his friends sang "Meet Me In St. Louis".

Caleb B. led 253 people in barking The Star Spangled Banner.
