103.7 WDBR and Cafe Brio in Springfield, Illinois joined forces to create a horseshoe sandwich measuring 57 inches long by 44 inches wide. The project, set during World Record July, benefited the Children's Miracle Network. In total, the sandwich contained 150 pounds of ground beef, 10 pounds of Cafe Brio's signature chipotle cheese sauce, over 100 pounds of french fries tossed with garlic and sea salt, was served on over 40 pounds of homemade foccacia onion bread and weighed in at over 400 pounds.

Justin Epps and his friends made 200 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in two minutes, 52.0 seconds.

Jake Bronstein ate four crustless peanut butter and jam sandwiches in 10 bites. Bronstein set the record on August 12, 2009 at a World Record Appreciation Society event in New York City. Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson were present to witness the feat. [#WRAS08][]

Richie Fredericks said the phrase “I’ll have what she’s having” 45 times in 30 seconds. The phrase is a classic line taken from the film When Harry Met Sally[].

Todd Lamb won back the title in a category he originally created by looking at 60 images of fish sandwiches in one minute, a new world record. His performace broke the previous record of 57 held by 91X Morning Show[] radio DJ Carlos Montoya. Lamb was aided by his assistant Marcus Livesay, who prepared by donning surgical gloves and chugging a Jolt. Demonstrating his encyclopedic knowledge of Jewish delis, David Sax names 30 of them in just one minute, a new universal record. Sax showed tremendous focus while setting the record, ignoring an obnoxious heckler who kept yelling, “Carnegie!” He performed the feat on February 11, 2009 at a World Record Appreciation Society event held in New York City.
