Running World Records  

Manish Shrestha, Unique Dahal, Om Prakash Shah, and Sunil Hansda ran a 4 x 200 meter relay backwards in three minutes, 54.00 seconds. They set the record to raise awareness regarding orphan children and to support the fight against child labor.

Elliott Osborn ran 45 meters backwards in 7.90 seconds.

Joe Salter ran a 26.20-mile marathon backwards in five hours, 51 minutes, 25.00 seconds while juggling three balls. He set the record during the Quad Cities Marathon in Moline, Illinois. Read more about the feat here.

Alicia Weber completed a cross country 1600-meter run with 400 deep squats in 13 minutes, 43.30 seconds.

Xavier Cullen ran across a basketball court in 3.78 seconds while holding a tennis ball between his chin and chest. He set the record as part of the College of Lake County Social Action Club's World Record Day fundraiser for the Zacharias Sexual Abuse Center in Gurnee, Illinois. #WorldRecordDay2012

William Cannon finished a half marathon on the Isle of Arran in three hours, 14 minutes, 32.00 seconds while carrying a 50-pound weight.

Calum Neff finished a half marathon in one hour, 11 minutes, 27.00 seconds while pushing a stroller. He set the record at the Katy Half Marathon in Katy, Texas.

Alicia Weber performed a half-mile cross country run, 10-yard archery combination in two minutes, 52.30 seconds.

Christopher M. completed a 26.2-mile indoor run in three hours, 53 minutes, 51.00 seconds while wearing a kilt. He set the record as a representative for Warriors On Course, a dedicated group that raises funds and awareness by those that are affected by Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Riley McLincha ran a mile in eight minutes, 44.22 seconds while dribbling three basketballs.

SwineFlu Avenger ran one mile in five minutes and 54 seconds while wearing a gas mask.

Glandu of Manu dans le 6/9 ran 12.4 mph on a treadmill placed on a street sidewalk. He wore a full bunny suit throughout the entire attempt and set the record during a live radio show and a live broadcast on their radio show's Facebook page.
