Photo World Records  

David photographed 30 strangers in one minute, a new world record. He used a Canon camera to complete the feat. The record was set on March 31, 2009 at LVHRD’s PHTHRD III party in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Rob Birdsong and Andrea Rosen were present to witness the feat and count the photographs taken.

Using her iPhone, Cheryl Altshuler took a photo of her son Evan Altshuler and added a mustache on his face in 31.05 seconds. She used the ’stachetastic application to achieve the feat. This record was set as part of Toyota Prius Records, a two-day event streamed live on the Internet. In a 48-hour period, URDB officials adjudicated 200 Prius-related world records. This was the most records ever documented in a 48-hour window, a world record in and of itself. The event took place in Los Angeles, California on March 30th and 31st, 2011. During their ceremony held at The Times Center in New York City, The Shorty Awards projected an animated GIF measuring 288 square feet. The GIF, created by Shorty Awards cofounder and Sawhorse Media CTO Lee Semel, featured the "Shorty Whale", designed by Yiying Lu. Lu also designed the original and iconic "Fail Whale." At the Zappos.com Bay to Breakers road race in San Francisco, California, Shirtless Runner set a world record for Most Selfies Taken With People Who've Finished A Road Race.
