Nine women from The Embarcadero Rowing Club dressed in wigs, mustaches, and pirate patches and rowed a figure 8 in their whaleboat in one minute, 44.97 seconds, a new world record. The record was set on June 22, 2009 in San Francisco, Californa. Coach Oliver DiCicco was present as a witness.

Kristin W. counted from 1 to 25 in 5.20 seconds while wearing a toothpaste mustache.

48 members of Texas 4000 donned fake mustaches and danced in a conga line. Each mustache was made using Break Cancer stickers.

This record was set as part of Toyota Prius Records, a two-day event streamed live on the Internet. In a 48-hour period, URDB officials adjudicated 200 Prius-related world records. This was the most records ever documented in a 48-hour window, a world record in and of itself. The event took place in Los Angeles, California on March 30th and 31st, 2011.
