Azhar ul Haque Sario of Hyderabad, Pakistan, has published 966 distinct books since 2023, covering subjects from Cambridge exam guides and CPA study kits to health, history and biography. He writes with AI tools and describes his process as a synthesis of man and machine. RecordSetter counted the titles on his Goodreads author page, treating ebook, paperback and revised editions of the same book as one.

Ten lines of kings, borders and freedom in under two minutes is a prodigious pace indeed.

Debarkhi Borah of Guwahati, India, who writes as St. Piter Arnstain, published eight paperback volumes of original fiction on Amazon between August 11 and October 18, 2026, at age 18: six novels, two of them split into two volumes each. A screen recording walks through each manuscript in Reedsy Studio with its word count on screen, then shows the paperbacks live in the author's Kindle Direct Publishing account and on their public Amazon listings. RecordSetter matched all eight listings, ISBNs and page counts (5,595 pages in all) to the author's tally of 1,199,086 words of story text, with front and back matter left out. The author wrote every book and used ChatGPT for spelling, grammar and occasional editing suggestions.

This record was set as part of Prius Records, a two-day event streamed live on the Internet. In a 48-hour period, URDB officials adjudicated 200 Prius-related world records. This was the most records ever documented in a 48-hour window, a world record in and of itself. The event took place in Los Angeles, California on March 30th and 31st, 2011. Nathan Dorrell created "The Story That Set The World On Fire," a children's storybook measuring six feet tall and 4.45 feet wide. The book is 2.25 inches thick and tells the story of Jesus' birth.
