Susie Brown endured tremendous pain, but managed to triumph by setting a
new record for the world’s longest bruise: 14 1/8 inches. This bruise
demolished former record holder Kevin’s 10.4 inch bruise.
The record was set on August 30, 2008 at the Burning
Man festival in Black Rock City, Nevada. Paul Mitchell and Dan
Rollman of the Playa Book of Records Executive Committee were present to
videotape and measure the evidence.

On October 7, 2008, Jaffe began to lay the base layers of a domino
skyscraper at his home in San Diego, California. Hundreds of dominoes, two ladders, and four days later, he’d created
an architectural marvel.
Alex Young knit a scarf measuring 5 feet, 8 inches in two hours, a new
world record. She used size 17 U.S. needles and two huge balls of yarn.
Young knit the scarf on May 20, 2009 at a World Record Appreciation
Society event in New York City. Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson were
present to document the feat.
Park L. stretched a Tootsie Roll Midgee until it reached 8.50 inches in length.
Using just his body and the pull of an arm, Thom Wall extended his Fat
Max tape measure 115.25 inches.
Gregg, Alexander, Eliana, Max, Tucker, Estelle, Warren,
Bennett, Briggs, Thatcher, Keegan, Owen, Barrett, and Kellen had a marshmallow roasting stick that measures 129.5 inches.
Andy Pelphrey harvested a red squirrel that measures 25 inches in

Kalli L. has logged 445,100 hours, 48 minutes, 21.07 seconds on his iPhone stopwatch.
Glenn Davis Doctor G recorded an album titled "World Record" with a
length of eight hours, 39 minutes, and three secoonds.
Benjamin Schwartz has logged 596,523 hours, 14 minutes and 7.21 seconds on his iPod stopwatch.
Colin Pilcher and Marc Murray played 8-ball billiards continuously
for 72 hours, 2 minutes and 7 seconds, raising money for the Heel and
The duo started at 7 pm on July 31st, 2011 and finished shortly after 7
pm on August 3rd, 2011. The final score was Pilcher’s 335 wins to
Murray’s 321 wins.

rubbing their stomachs for two hours. They set the record while
attending id Tech Campin Villanova, Pennsylvania.
Daniel Haslam waited in ESPN’s College GameDay line for 43 hours
and 30 minutes. Haslem got in line at 3pm on Thursday October 22, 2009
and stayed in it until 10:30am on Saturday October 24, 2009, in time for
the start of the show.
