A total of 1,600 students participated in a reading lesson held at Southwest High School in San Diego, California. The event was organized by Yuriy Seretskiy and The Symbol of Success LLC to help improve the US educational system.

Brian Pankey completed aseven ring juggling pulldown while balancing on a rola bola.

Q-Dance Australia built a robot measuring 24 meters high and 48 meters wide. It was created as a centerpiece for 2013 Defqon.1, an annual music festival held in Australia. It has 8 x 2 tonne motors that hoist the audio system and has multiple nitro-charged flame positions, activated remotely using a control console. The robot also boasts architectural and special effects lighting. The eyes are Jarag-led which are mapped to create expressions. There are 10 high-powered laser units and numerous pyrotechnic points with up to 70 mm mortars. It is specially designed using a steam punk style and parts are of recycled materials.

A student at Chinmaya Vidyalaya Matriculation School in Coimbatore, India created a salt mosaic that measures 41.60 square meters.

Students and staff members at Indu International School made a salt mosaic that measures 900 square meters. They set the record to raise awareness about global warming.

A. Divakar from SPK Schools in Namakkal, India created a seed mosaic measuring five meters wide and 24 meters long. Dr. S. Prabu Kumar, chairman of the school institution, organized the record.

Chirps Chips served 5,000 pounds of nachos in a single serving. The nachos were made using cricket flour to promote eating insects as a more sustainable protein source.

Students from Eudora High School created a Sierpinski triangle made of 59,049 pennies. They set the record to raise funds for the March of Dimes, collecting a total of $731.83 during the attempt.

Alfonso Ribeiro led thousands of people in Universal CityWalk in Hollywood in performing the Carlton Dance. The flash mob included 6,601 dancers performing simultaneously in over 300 cities across the United States and Canada. They set the record to promote the Body by Vi Challenge, America's fastest growing weight loss and fitness challenge. Read more about the feat here. A total of 2,180 groups, consisting of 15,180 attendees from 11 countries, performed a simultaneous group workout. The attempt was organized by ViSalus to promote health and fitness and raise awareness about their Project 10 Kids Campaign.
