Head World Records

Pearl Cohen put up ten ponytails in one minute, a new world record. She used her mom’s hair to achieve the feat. Cohen set the record on April 4, 2009 at the first annual Brooklyn World Record Day in Brooklyn, New York. The event was held by URDB in conjunction with Beam Camp. Corey Henderson was present to witness the record. #BWRD01

Members of iD Tech Camps in UC San Diego stuck 53 paper airplanes in the hair of one person.

Michael Bennett has a world record four patches of natural gray hair. Bennett’s hair was documented on May, 28 2009 in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. Erica Hess was present as a witness.

18 curly haired members of the Reflections Of Christ Youth Ministry gathered together on a stage, a new world record. The record was set on June 17, 2009 in Lake City Florida. Dustin Busscher was present as a witness.

Sophia Flanagan drew 10 images of Homer Simpson’s head in one minute and 15.58 seconds. Time stopped when the 10th Homer Simpson head was completed.

Jonathan R. broke 62 pencils with his forehead in one minute.

Lexi Moyle wore 30 visors at once, a world record. Following rules set by the original category creator, all the visors were worn on her neck and above. Moyle performed the feat live on the Nathan and Nat with Shaun McManus[] radio show on July 14, 2009.

Ahmir ’Questlove’ Thompson fit 101 afro picks in his afro at once, a new world record. He placed all the picks in the afro himself, receiving no outside assistance. Thompson achieved the feat on June 25, 2009 in New York City while taping a URDB segment for Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. Frank DiFiore broke 30 pencils with his forehead in 30 seconds, a new world record. The pencils were broken one at a time.

Melissa Dorsey applied ponytails to 10 heads in 51.47 seconds. The feat was achieved on July, 18, 2009 at the [Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago. Representatives from RecordSetter were present to document the record. #PF01

Zach Neal shaved the hair off his head in two minutes, 19 seconds. NOTE: This record can be dangerous. Please use proper safety precautions.

Pavol and Peter headed a balloon back and forth 3,051 times without letting it touch the ground.

Pavol Durdik balanced a golf ball on the back of his head for 58 minutes, 42.00 seconds.

Kathleen Meshginpoosh stood on her head and sang The Ballad of Gilligan’s Isle[] for one minute, 31.28 seconds. While setting the record, she intermittently blew bubbles through an egg shell.

Dave C. of Sweaty Church crushed 62 eggs in 30 seconds using his head.
