Owen Biddle of The Rootsplayed a bass guitar that was wired through two wah-wah pedals. He attempted to plug in six, but a faulty cable led to an unsuccessful attempt. Biddle set the recordat a World Record Appreciation Society event held at Joe’s Pub in New York City. He was accompanied by Blast Off!!!. Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson were present as witnesses. Mick Cullen bounced a table tennis ball 96 times using his electric guitar as a paddle. He used an Ibanez electric guitar to achieve the feat.

This record was set as part of Prius Records, a two-day event streamed live on the Internet. In a 48-hour period, URDB officials adjudicated 200 Prius-related world records. This was the most records ever documented in a 48-hour window, a world record in and of itself. The event took place in Los Angeles, California on March 30th and 31st, 2011.
