Fifteen-year-old guitarist Yuquan Zhang played an electric guitar solo while blindfolded at home in Hubei, China, standing in front of an amp for the whole performance. A pale cloth blindfold covers the eyes from the first frame to the last of a single continuous take, with just over four minutes of playing over a backing track. The piece is "For the Love of You," composed by Yaohua Zhang, who holds the RecordSetter record for the longest blindfolded electric guitar solo. RecordSetter reviewed the full video for continuity and accepted the age stated in the submission.

Raktim Khound of Jorhat, India, swung his acoustic guitar up over his head and played it resting across his shoulders for 5 minutes 37 seconds. Filmed from behind in one continuous take, the video shows his left hand on the neck above his head and his right hand strumming the body behind it, and he chose Vande Mataram, India's national song, for the attempt. RecordSetter timed the attempt from his first strum in position, about 22 seconds into the clip, until he brings the guitar back down at the six-minute mark. He never once gets to look at the strings.

Spanish guitarist Jose Javier "Jotas" Segura Delgado set up in a booth at the Leyendas del Rock festival in Villena, Spain, and played electric guitar alone from 8:23 a.m. on Monday, August 3, 2026 until 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5, working through 661 logged songs with no backing tracks, metronome or bandmates. Two fixed cameras and a running clock on a monitor recorded the whole attempt, and pairs of witnesses signed off every shift and every rest break, including a power cut that he kept playing through. The result of 55 hours and 52 minutes (3,352 minutes) runs from his first song to his last, and the music only stopped on his logged breaks.

The performance was completed standing, with the blindfold worn throughout and the transition between songs kept within the allowed window.
