The Relay For Life of Bergen Beach, Mill Basin & Marine Park hosted 419 participants at their Zumba For Life event to set a record for Largest Zumba Class In New York City. They set the record at the Aviator Sports Complex in Brooklyn to raise cancer awareness and money for the benefit of the American Cancer Society.
Alicia Weber performed 372 alternating squat thrusts in one minute.
Darryl Learie performed an eight-finger plank exercise without using his thumbs while carrying 100 pounds of additional weight on his back. He remained balanced in position for 52.70 seconds.

Alicia Weber completed the 400 rep aerobic capacity wellness challenge in 23 minutes, 35.29 seconds. Weber designed the challenge based on her research of 30 fitness clients in 2011.
The exercise routine of the challenge is continuous and completed in the following order:
1. 100 push-up burpees with jump and overhead clap
2. 100 deep squats with arms held out and legs breaking 90 degrees
3. 100 mountain climbers
4. 50 one-leg push-up burpees (right leg) with jump and overhead clap
5. 50 one-leg push-up burpees (left leg) with jump and overhead clap
Alicia Weber completed 205 pull-ups on a thick bar during a 30-minute 3-in-1 challenge.
Pull-ups are to be completed in this order:
1.10 minutes of pull-ups with a 10-pound medicine ball held between legs
2.10 minutes of L-pull-ups where legs are held straight out and parallel to ground
3.10 minutes of regular pull-ups
Alicia Weber completed 605 reps of the arm-leg endurance challenge.
Rules and Order for Challenge as follows:
1.Begin with 30 minutes of strict form chin-ups; starting in dead hang full extension with chin clearing bar for a rep. Must only use supinated (under handed palm-away grip) entire time. Must only use steel straight bar and no leg movements allowed.
2.Next, complete three minutes of deep squats where arms are held out entire time and legs break 90 degrees on all reps and return to full extension for a rep.
3.Finally, complete one minute of Swiss ball squats on fully inflated Swiss ball set on hard surface. Must remain balanced on Swiss ball entire time without any support and hands are free bringing legs to 90 degrees and return to full extension for a rep.
4.All three exercises must be completed in three hours or less.
