Longest Film Entirely Animated by a Person Under 18

Jovany Dera

Jovany Dera of Orlando, Florida animated The Goofings Movie alone, a 57-minute 41-second musical comedy in which a struggling scientist named Dr. Ooki brews a potion that brings four wacky creatures called the Goofings to life, and an army sergeant sets out to catch them. Jovany pitched the film at age 11 in 2020 as an origin story for The Goofing Show, a homemade cartoon series begun in 2019, then storyboarded it, voiced the Goofings and drew the animation in the app Brush Ninja, releasing it on YouTube on July 30, 2026, while still under 18. RecordSetter timed the film from its opening warning card to its closing The End title, credits included, and confirmed that the credits name Jovany as the sole animator; the Goofing Show shorts that play after The End in the same upload are not counted. Studio features take teams of hundreds, and this one took a single young animator and six years of patience.

Longest Horror Film Made From Crayon Drawings

Paul Catalanotto

Paul Catalanotto of Madisonville, Louisiana told an entire feature-length ghost story on paper: The Children Under the House runs 79 minutes 36 seconds and carries its visual storytelling through original crayon drawings, shot one sheet at a time and cut together with narration. It belongs to analog horror, a genre built on the texture of degraded home video and found footage, and Catalanotto swaps the usual VHS glitch for a child's crayon drawing of a girl with X's for eyes. RecordSetter measured the runtime at 79:36 against the film's public release and sampled 486 frames spanning the full length, confirming crayon artwork on paper carries the imagery throughout, interleaved with handwritten case notes and narration cards. GameRant later named it one of the 25 best analog horror works online.
