Dessert World Records  

Cynthia Kueppers and Dave Bredesen built a carrot cake 18" in height, a new world record. When complete, the cake had 21 layers. The duo built the oversized dessert on May 20, 2009 at a World Record Appreciation Society[] event in New York City. When they were finished creating it, hungry audience members ate the entire thing. Nichelle Stephens and Rachel Kramer Bussel of Cupcakes Take The Cake[] and Nora Vetter of Nibbles by Nora assembled a cupcake kebab[] that measured 33.5 inches in length. Vetter, who invented the concept and baked the cupcakes they used, stipulated at least 1/3 of the kebab be made of cupcakes.
