Dance World Records  

The iRobot Poland team led 659 people in doing "The Robot" at Ustka Beach in Poland. They set the record as part of their summertime event and to promote awareness of the importance of home robots in everyday life.

478 students from SPK Schools in Namakkal, India danced at once while holding sugarcane stalks. Dr. S.Prabu Kumar, chairman of the school institution, organized the record.

Wheelchair Dancers, a nonprofit organization, led 80 participants in wheelchairs and their dance partners in dancing the Tango. They set the record to promote self-esteem and teamwork, fun, and inspiration for physically challenged people. Learn more about the feat here.

At the Zappos.com Bay to Breakers road race in San Francisco, California, 17 people set a world record for Most People Dancing “The Robot” Without Listening To Music. City of Champion's Executive Mayor Danny Jordaan led 47 children in dancing the Nae Nae dance.

A total of 22 people danced the Gumboot Dance at once. They set the record to promote unity and social cohesion in their community.

541 students at Maharishi Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School in Tamil Nadu, India performed a Karnataka folk dance at once.

524 students at Maharishi Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School in Tamil Nadu, India performed a Tamil Fusion folk dance at once.

509 students at Maharishi Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School in Tamil Nadu, India performed a Kummi folk dance at once.
