Kadhim Shubber rode 891 miles with a full-sized skeleton on the back seat of his tandem bicycle. He cycled from John O'Groats, Scotland to Land's End, England. He set the record to raise money for scholarship programs at Imperial College London. Read more about the feat here.

Texas 4000, a group of University of Texas students preparing to cycle 4,000 miles to raise money to battle cancer, rode a trainer bike 31.50 miles in one hour, a new world record. Texas 4000 set the record during URDB’sBreakCancer party at the SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas. Jireh A. calculated a 24,449-mile cycle route using Google Maps. This route runs from Fairbanks, Alaska to Florida.

Kenny Lewis whistled for 44.95 seconds while riding his bicycle though Death Valley. His tune of choice was Walking In The Air, the theme from the 1982 animated film of Raymond Briggs’ 1978 children’s book The Snowman[]. Lewis took the ride to raise money for WaterAid.

Rich Dwyer, Greg Obetz, Mike Richwalder, Brice Biruta, and Andrew Hiller rode tandem style on three Big Wheels for six minutes, 16.10 seconds. Three men steered the tricycles with the other two balanced on the back. tag:RecordSetterBook01

Alexander Paul Kleinschmidt rode a bicycle with his feet on the handlebars for two minutes, 40.45 seconds, a RecordSetter.com World Record. Kleinschmidt set the record on June 28, 2009 in a McKinney, Texas parking lot. Karise Marie Carrillo was present as a witness. tag:RecordSetterBook01

60 riders in the Texas 4000stood in a circle and made individual dedications before lining up and forming a can-can line. They set the record before heading out on a bicycle ride.

Andy Gray, Billy Spellman, and Andy Layland used a triplet bicycle to cycle from Holme Fen, the lowest point of the British Isles to Ben Nevis, the highest mountain and point in the British Isles. They cycled a total of 500 miles in five days. They set the record to raise funds for Children with Cancer UK. Read more about their feat here.

Art Hoffman completed a 1/4 mile bike ride with his dog Chenji in 58.87 seconds.
