Cake World Records  

Cynthia Kueppers and Dave Bredesen built a carrot cake 18" in height, a new world record. When complete, the cake had 21 layers. The duo built the oversized dessert on May 20, 2009 at a World Record Appreciation Society[] event in New York City. When they were finished creating it, hungry audience members ate the entire thing. Stephen Webster blew out a world record 50 candles with a single puff.

Doug McManaman balanced a cake with 70 lit candles on his chin for one minute, 15.84 seconds while kneeling. He set the record to celebrate his 70th birthday.
