As part of the "Dream Big - Read" summer reading program, members of Kasson Public Library gathered 15 people to simultaneously read "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" by Bill Martin Jr. and Eric Carle.

In partnership with Newham Barnsley, the Wayne Sables Project made a domino chain using 500 breeze blocks and successfully made the entire chain topple. Darryl Learie compiled a book of 638 personal records with 170 pages in length. He created the book on September 10, 1993 and has been updating and adding records to the list ever since.
