Michael Smith prepared 19 frog plates by hand in a single sitting. He
performed the feat in the Rose Lab at Princeton University.
Each frog plate is a 96-well plate with strains of yeast at the top,
diluted down the lanes. Each frog plate was plated onto at least two
plates to confirm growth (-URA and -URA Galactose). Professor Mark Rose
was present to witness the achievement.

performed 147 yeast plasmid transformations by hand in a single sitting.
Each transformation was conducted in a microcentrifuge tube, and then
plated onto -URA glucose media.
