About

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia / October 15, 2026

William Cain sits cross-legged on a backyard deck in Melbourne with a tethered soccer training ball resting between his knees, then slaps it with alternating open hands at a furious pace. The whole burst lasts just under ten seconds from the first hit to the last. We counted 110 slaps from the clip, matching each audible hit against the footage. That works out to about eleven slaps every second.
