Trey Shannon drove 845.48 miles (1360.66 kilometers) on a kart track in 24 hours. He set the record to raise awareness about Tourette Syndrome and to raise money for the Tourette Syndrome Association. Learn more about the feat here.

Rules

- must drive a race kart
- must drive in a standard race kart track; use of a circular or oval track is not permitted
- must drive for 24 hours
- vehicle engine must not exceed a capacity of 160 cc
- distance is calculated by multiplying the number of laps completed by the circuit length
- if kart breaks down during the attempt, backup team may repair
- if backup team has not resolved breakdown issue after 15 minutes, may replace race kart
- rest break included in the 24-hour period
- must provide visual evidence
