S. Naviya from SPK Schools in Namakkal, India created mosaic using plastic balls. The finished mosaic measures 16 meters wide and six meters long. Dr. S. Prabu Kumar, chairman of the school institution, organized the record.

As part of a Chef Michael's world record event held at PetFest in Bridgehampton, New York, Allison O'Connor used 36 cans of Chef Michael's and set a world record for the Largest Pyramid Of Chef Michael's Cans Assembled In 30 Seconds. Q-Dance Australia built a robot measuring 24 meters high and 48 meters wide. It was created as a centerpiece for 2013 Defqon.1, an annual music festival held in Australia. It has 8 x 2 tonne motors that hoist the audio system and has multiple nitro-charged flame positions, activated remotely using a control console. The robot also boasts architectural and special effects lighting. The eyes are Jarag-led which are mapped to create expressions. There are 10 high-powered laser units and numerous pyrotechnic points with up to 70 mm mortars. It is specially designed using a steam punk style and parts are of recycled materials.
