Suspending World Records

Thommy Ohlund suspended 88.10 pounds of weights on his fingertips.

Montystar A. bound his legs and hands and had himself suspended in mid-air for 34.57 seconds between moving trucks. NOTE: This record is dangerous and should only be attempted by trained professionals.

15-year-old Nicholas Brice performed a straitjacket escape while dangling 40 feet above the ground. He was inspired to set the record by the late great magician Harry Houdini. Read more about the feat here.

This record was set as part of Toyota Prius Records, a two-day event streamed live on the Internet. In a 48-hour period, URDB officials adjudicated 200 Prius-related world records. This was the most records ever documented in a 48-hour window, a world record in and of itself. The event took place in Los Angeles, California on March 30th and 31st, 2011.
