- must perform a 6-12 inch straight leg hold as demonstrated in the original record

- must keep legs straight and together 6-12 inches off ground for duration of attempt

- must place marker at 13 inches and keep legs below mark for duration of attempt

- must wear shorts to show straightness of legs

- must attempt on a hard, flat surface

- must keep body on a straight line; head may rest on the floor or may be lifted

- arms may be placed anywhere except under buttocks area

- must keep posterior pelvic tilt with abs contracting entire time

- may not arch back

- must keep butt on ground

- must provide video evidence
