Info

State/Province: 0 Almost three years has passed since I made my last record of 5 hours and 5 minutes. I was surprised how much the spin time prolonged this time just by adding the threaded rod between the wheel and the bearing. This made the setup more stable. Also the balance was improved since last time. The key for a long spin is fine tuning the magnetic pull so that the neodymium magnets are only just sufficient to carry the weight of the flywheel, hence generating extremely low friction between the contact points.
